Morisset is a major railway station on the railway line from Sydney to Newcastle and it is the central suburb in this area of South West Lake Macquarie. Many of the surrounding suburbs have water frontages on Lake Macquarie, Dora Creek or one of the other many small bodies of water which make the area so appealing.
Bonnells Bay to the East is the gateway suburb, with it’s own small shopping centre, between Morisset and the peninsula suburbs of Windemere Park, Brightwaters, Sunshine, Silverwater, Balcolyn, Yarrawonga Park and of course Morisset Park where a several hundred million dollar hotel and luxury living homes, townhouses and units are in development, including a planned luxury Pullman hotel.
This area is an oasis for families with vast expanses of forests and lakefront reserves and there are good size houses with great family blocks of land – the way Sydney suburbs used to be in 1970’s.
Great local real estate sales agents in this area work under the low cost, low commission structure of the local Dotcom real estate agents from Newcastle and they often go over and above in service and property presentation to help do the heavy lifting that makes a property look appealing for sale.
Steve Russon and Kale Hook are a great team with a friendly informative approach yet great market knowledge and understand to ensure that selling vendors get a good price and a well presented home for sale.
